"Cricket" The Linkshell's Banker
Lets discuss a shared gil account as proposed by Inlay.
We now have a special character who's name is "Cricket".
She is our Linkshell Bank account. We will donate money
to her via the Auction House mail system. When a member
needs some extra money, we can have her distribute some.
You can also donate unused armor and weapons to share
among other members.
We still have some things to work on and here are some
Questions we should address:

1) How would we get the money when we needed it?
2) Not sure how much one account can receive in a day.
3) How much should we donate and how often?
4) How does it get paid back for the next person?
5) How do we regulate how often someone can use it?
6) Do we take turns?

Please post your comments.
Anonymous posts using your character name is fine.

This is kongming. I'd be glad to give you my personal opinions on what to do.

1. deliver it is the only real option i guess...We could send emails, messages, and tells when we need the money.
2. I'm not sure either, but i don't think there's a limit on the amount of gil. I think there are only 8 slots though, so until you empty it I'm not sure. So if someone sends you 100gil and 3 items, and 2 others do the same, it might be backed up a bit, but if someone just sent you 100k, i think that'd work.
3. I guess that's going to vary between us four and marok, and osyris and iden. Because we're all at different stages in the game, the amount of money to be spared is most likely variable, but then again, so is the amount needed. Osyris or iden may not be able to donate as much because they are on lower levels, but then again, they also wouldn't need as much money for their stuff yet either.
4. Now this is where we start getting into real tricky banking stuff. We could set up payment plans, or we could just ask the person how long they think it would be. Personally, i propose setting up some sort of ls ranking system, where the interest rates vary. Obviously, I don't think any of the earlier members should have an interest rate, and should just pay back the exact amount they borrowed. You could always make it a little higher for newer members, maybe 1.1x or 1.05.
5. You said the 4 will govern the many, i like that idea personally. Give kusko, inlay, and I a vote, and give yourself two, to break the tie.
6. the taking turns thing doesn't really matter if you use the voting method because if someone uses it all the time we can always vote no.

*this is just my personal opinion, feel free to do whatever you like*
*I'd be happy to keep an excel account of the ls fund if you like, but you'd need to send me the numbers*
